Hey, is anyone good with QBO? I just started using it yesterday and I think I'm making it harder than it is. Basically I buy lots of services for link building, article writing, pay for DFB/BLG, and miscellaneous stuff from the BST on this and other forums. And all incoming money is from affiliate networks or independent advertisers. I'm a sole proprietor.

There seems to be an assload of "methods" you can use to track cashflows and stuff, but if anyone knows the most simple setup I can use I would appreciate any advice.

Simple, setup the people you pay(vendors) an cogs account, and then setup an income or sales account.

I never went with it since you can't import your transactions from your bank websites.
That may have all changed since they acquired Mint - not sure though.

They have web connect for the online edition... It downloads new transactions nightly automatically which is nice. You can also do the manual download/upload of the file from your bank into it. Another thing you can do is link it to your Paypal account and it will download transactions from there on a regular interval.
