Listening to Howard Stern today. Work from home commercials asking people to go to there website. Also alot of get your free laptop computer go to this special offer site. Radio good way to promote offers like make money, lose weight, free giveaway.

Weight loss offer you could say

"A weight loss trial is being conducted in Tempe,AZ(local radio area) seeking women that need to lose (average weight loss someone wants to lose)10-20 pounds that are (based on radio demographic)18-35 yrs old. This is a free and space is limited. See if you qualify go to weightlossblabalh123,com"

this has been discussed a few times on here - i gave some tips in those threads. radio can effectively drive traffic - it's a matter of getting your rates as low as possible. as effective as ppc? hard to say - but radio is good with aida - attention, interest, desire, and ultimately action (though action gets credited elsewhere much of the time). a google search is an 'action' - so you really want a memorable url that translates well to being heard, remembered, and easy to type in - not a lot of shit to confuse someone - like multiple ways to type a word/number.

numberoneweightloss, number1weightloss

auction2post, auctiontopost

I worked in radio for several years, feel free to hit me up via PM with questions. Although, I've never done radio to online personally.

Also, Clinical Trials are a BIG market for radio advertising because the drug companies basically foot the bill. So all of those "free weight loss program" things might not be affiliate offers... they could be legit clinical trials. But I'm sure they can both be successful.

i've ran ads on stern....can't elaborate more then that but it's pretty damn expensive.

clinical trial ads are just lead generation/list building for a particular niche

better off doing RADIO -> 800# w/ a strong DR sales team

RADIO -> ONLINE is not very effective

same with MAGAZINE -> ONLINE not very effective..

OFFLINE always works best w/ a call center

Radio --> 800# does work well but Radio ---> online can still work if you have a good memorable domain. You really need to do both if your going to run an ad.
