Man I loved these guys, should have kept the old name LOL, I remember asking my Dad for this album for x-mas instead of Rainbow Butt Monkeys he got me the Butthole Surfers though. An honest mistake.

Perhaps the reason they changed their name. They don't suck; I may check out some more of their stuff.

This came out when I was in high school. At the time I liked this song and what I heard of the album, but I always thought the name made them sound like a joke band even though they're not.

Thats the reason they changed their name, they had written the butt monkey tunes while still in highschool .. When it came to the next record they had grown since the last and the took the music more seriously.. They knew with a name like rainbow butt monkeys no one would ever take them seriously so they changed to finger eleven
