raising ppc bids: more traffic - same leads

I'm getting a good amount of track and conversions on a keyword at .20, last night I raised it to a $1.00 and getting a 2.25% CTR, but my sales aren't incresing, I broke even. could it be that it's just "one of those days", and should let it run at that bid for a few days?

I would like to think if you raise bids on converting bids that you would get more leads, but it seems whenever I do this, my leads stay the same, just more traffic.

You need to let your campaign run for at least a week or two to notice any trends. Things change all the time, especially on the weekends. There are certain campaigns I run at different times of the week at different intervals.

If you're worried about budget, just raise your currently best converting keywords to $1.00 and keep the more ineffective keywords at .20c .

let it run for a few days, also check how your position changed. if you're still not at the top, try and get to spots 2-4 (the premium spots) and see how that affects conversions.

Alright I'll give that a try, I'm just all about instant high ROI conversions, but maybe in the long term it could work out after some testing. I'll raise the bids only the converting keywords rather than the entire ad group.
