New google tool for all you home shoppers.
Real Estate
Just type city, and state.

It shows homes for sale, foreclosures, bank owned as well as Notice of Defaults (NODs, people who missed a payment). Looks like lots of people been skippin on their mortgage payment.

I think i'm gonna hold off from buying for a bit. I think the economy has at least another year of hard times.

And to all you scumbag ex-realtors and mortgage brokers, take a look at the fucking mess you made! slangin bullshit loans. Pumpin the market with "Buy now or be priced out forever", "Prices always go up", "Just Re-Fi later" crap. Its a shame.

You do understand there are many more factors that contributed to the housing bust than just "scambag ex-realtors and mortgage brokers", right?

Homes for everyone: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkAtUq0OJ68"]YouTube - George Bush: we want everybody in America to own their own home. That's what we want.[/ame]

How HUD Mortgage Policy Fed The Crisis - washingtonpost.com

The banks that allowed mortgage brokers to push stated-income sub-prime loans through with little to no scrutiny are just as bad as said mortgage brokers who are also just as bad as the faulty policies implemented by both the clinton and Bush nr2 administrations.

But now we know better, right? Families that can't afford a traditional 30-year mortgage should not be owning homes, no matter what race they are. Save up or rent, many latino and asian families do just that and anybody living in a major city in california knows at least one asian or latino family with 10+ extended family members crammed into a 3 or 4 bedroom house. Yeah, those jerks down the block who hog up all the street parking with their 6+ cars.

New Agency Proposed to Oversee Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae - The New York Times

"The Bush administration today recommended the most significant regulatory overhaul in the housing finance industry since the savings and loan crisis a decade ago." - Bush wanted to regulate Fannie and Freddie more.

"''These two entities -- Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac -- are not facing any kind of financial crisis,'' said Representative Barney Frank of Massachusetts, the ranking Democrat on the Financial Services Committee. ''The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing.''"

Yea, i know it wasn't all on the RE agents and mortgage brokers. They're just fun to bash on.

Redfin seems to be the best one so far. I use that alot. I figure its a G product so it must be good right? :)

All this mess makes me wonder whats gonna happen in the next few years.

At first It just popped up A - J on the map and I thought "wow there is a recession over this?": Then a few seconds later like 2000 little dots show up on the screen lol. Yea, I think real estate will be down for a few more years after seeing this.
