Really dumb Commission Junction signup question

Commission Junctions new user ( publisher ) signup requires that you list a website name and URL with them. Why ? What if I don't have a website and just want to skip landing pages and go right to the seller? What if I want to look around at the different seller offers on CJ and THEN decide what kind of web application to build for affiliate offers ?

Should I just put my personal blog on there or something lame just to register ? Does it really matter ?

just put anything there and specify you're going to run ppc+landing pages...this probably gets you into any aff network

I understand you can put any site in there you want, whether it's yours or not. I'm not saying you should do it...just heard it works.

Just have a domain and call it Adwords Campaign # or something like that.
