Alright,

I've been creating some pretty good shit that I'm planning to sell. This would be the first time selling my own actual products. I can't use Paypal because someone could fuck me over since I am under 18.

So does anyone know a site that I can use to receive payments from customers, and then that site just sends me a large check monthly (or weekly, whenever) with all the money the customers paid with?

If so throw up a link.

Thanks.

Paypal account with your parents information is the way to go :)
That is what I did when I was under 18. never had problems

Can't do that, but thanks for the suggestion.

Parents are divorced. Dad doesn't pay child support and owes over $11,000. Mom has to take him to court continuously, and an extra $30,000 that she'd have to report for would look bad for the court, along with her.

Still open for suggestions.

What about getting someone you know and you trust a lot (over 18), and offering him a percentage of the amount you are cashing in exchange for using his name?

That could be a last resort... I believe it would cause a hassle for him having to claim taxes for income that's not even his.

Anymore suggestions?

Don't now if this still applies but all you need to verify your account is a credit card. You could get one of those prepaid credit cards at Wally World or a gas station and try it that way.

The only issue you may run into is if they find out you are underage they can nuke your account. So, it is a risk you might have to take.

I don't know of any other payment processors that allow you to sign up if you are underage. Is there anyone else you trust that could sign up for you?

I have people that would allow me to use their Paypal account.
I already have a verified Paypal account connected to my bank, but the payments all come from sites where I don't mention my age.

The main concern here is someone reporting me to Paypal after they see my age. Seems unlikely, but getting $1,000+ locked in a Paypal account wouldn't make me very happy.

will your customers know that you are under 18...? your making too big of a deal of this... i used to use paypal long before i was 18

You could always make an inadvertent typo in your birth year. The keys, they're all so close together.. :)

If you already have a PayPal account, just use it already, and make taking the money out of it part of your daily routine when you logon.
Make it one of your homepages!

Then, no need to worry about no money.
When you need money in there again, just transfer it back,

Hell, only idiots leave more than four figures in their PayPal accounts at any one time, unless they're in serious need of that much liquidity.

Paypal with your mums name, your own debit card and your own bank.

When the 30Gs show up, wire it to your OWN back?

Wouldn't he have problems that way? The bank owners name conflicting with the paypal owners name?

The only reason you would be reluctant to use your very own paypal account (since you've already stated that you do have one) is that you are into something shady.
Under 18 or not... Paypal may lock your account if they feel what you are running is not a legit operation. It all depends on whether you can prove its all legit or not.

Are you selling a tangible product, digital information, etc???

No I can assure you what I'm doing is legitimate. It's not a tangible product.
I'm giving away the free digital product I created but then setting up a OTO where they can upgrade to receive an advanced video series on everything discussed in the digital product.

I think what I'll end up doing is just taking the debit card that Paypal sent me to an ATM everyday and withdrawing the cash unless anyone has some other suggestions.

Thanks for all the help.

The debit card is a good idea.
I use my paypal almost like a bank account, money goes into it, I get groceries, cigs, beer, whatever...
Then just take cash out whenever.
Be aware, paypal charges you $1 on top of whatever any ATM charges you to take cash out.

I could potentially write a merchant account for someone under 18 if there was someone over 18 who signed as a guarantor. The guarantor would not really need report the revenue. Until 2010 payment processors are not required to report income volume to the IRS. Plus, if it not their business, it's not a major concern.

However in your situation, I could see underwriting being a concern with that type product. If you want to tell me more about the product in a PM, I might be able to give you a more definitive idea if it would be possible.

Damn I have had the same Paypal account since I was 13 guess I was lucky. I think things have changed a bit since then tho.

I don't know about your prob, but I'm using paypal perfectly fine and still a minor. But I never sell something with Paypal.
