Received Bankruptcy Notice from Ex Network

Anybody remember Traffic Needs?

Received a letter today from their attorneys informing me they've applied for bankruptcy. There have been many threads here talking about how slow they were to pay, etc.

We ran with them years ago.. to my knowledge, we were eventually paid everything. Yet, why would we receive this letter unless there's something on their books stating we're still due something?

More curious here than anything else. Did anybody else who used to promote them in the past receive a similar letter?

Got one of those notices as well, I guess they forgot to pull the names of those they actually paid... we worked with them in 2008 I believe.

No idea - but they are operating under a new company name. Maybe that's the borderline between legality.

absolutely not, it just screws the people waiting for payments because their debts are written off. consider what chyrsler did...

I would have thought so. If it isn't, can't anyone just let their company go bankrupt and get away with not paying out, and then start again under a new entity?

Yes, quite a few companies have done that. FWIW, the two main guys at TN are not involved with Push AFAIK

Some state's bankruptcy laws require you to send notices to all your vendors when you declare bankruptcy.
