Im looking for someone to design a joomla template for me. Any recommendations? On that same note, Im also going to need a newsletter template designed as well.

If you post some examples of designs you like I could suggest someone similar to that style for you. Are you looking for something graphic heavy, light and clean, etc?
something light and clean, but very youthful targerting a highschool audience with an education theme
You could also host a design contest on the competitors forum SP. They have a design contest you get loads of entries, choose a winner and then get someone to chop it up for Joomla?
