resource for a press kit?

Hey gang,
I have launched a new project and I am in need of creating a press kit. I'm planning on sending it to various websites that would be interested in publishing what I have to offer.

Can you guys share any resources you may have or any advice on creating a digital press kit?

Did you create a product, service, or just a unique website?

I generally use Apple's PR kits as examples when creating my own, here is one page they have about the Macbook: http://www.apple.com/pr/products/macbook/macbook_13.html

I'm not sure if you need helping organizing your PK, or if you're starting from scratch. Either way be sure to have a couple press releases, some images of your product for affiliate sites and PR sites to use, a description of your product along with as much general information as you can provide (so folks can write their own articles on it), and if you're hoping for affiliates maybe do some KW research and provide them with a handful of good keywords to rank for (after you've ranked for yours of course).

Actually it's a documentary I'm trying to make. I've decided to use KickStarter to gain funding for the project and I want to release press kits to several outlets to spread the word.
