Roll your own email submit\zip submit script?

Anyone know of a pre-developed script that would allow you to "roll your own" email\zip submit type site? Looking over these sites I get the feeling that making my own, then promoting it myself would bring in a lot more than a simple $1 CPA in the long run + allow me to build an email list.
 


From a coding/technical perspective a email/zip submit is pretty simple to put together. The hardest part for you will be to go out and make the direct deals with the companies that buy coreg leads and with end merchants themselves.

If you don't make direct deals, you won't get the best rates which will affect the amount you can payout per lead. If you pay too low, no affiliate will pick up your campaign. Remember, you'll be competing with other email/zip submit companies that have all these direct deals.

Not planning on competing for affiliates - would be doing this for myself. General idea is to use this to split test with other zip\email offers. If I could replicate the offer and make more through my backend then through their scrubbed $1 per submit I'd go with mine. Just something I'm toying with.
 
You don't really need a script for this- just have a few static pages linking to aff offers with a unique ID linked to the email address as the subid(maybe md5 the email).

it would still be a lot easier with a pre-made script. I've been looking for this for a while

what? keep up with the payout? Why not just start with an insane $2 per email and scrub 90% like all of them do ?
 
I just had a quick look around on hotscripts and found this email list builder/manager - looks like it will do what you want, allows the user to signup and then sends confirm/optin email to them.

It's a paid script, but only £20. Might need a bit of tweaking but looks a good start, so thought I'd mention it.
 
Before jumping head first into the freebie's game, if I were you I would read all the regulation around it. There is a reason that the companies that have have been successful with promotional marketing are companies that have teams of people doing it. Just saying.

If you do move forward with it keep us updated on how it goes for you.

Believe me, it's a lot harder than it appears to make $1/ submit. If it were that easy, you'd see 1,000 companies out there doing it. Right now there's only maybe 10-15 companies that are successfully doing submits these days.
 
I think it has a ton to do with monetizing the leads via multiple methods. Obviously the actual offer completion rate on them is going to insanely low, but with that aside, like Matt said he'll be building his list at the same time. If he targets his submit to a particular demo, or even better an exact niche, that list could possibly be worth its weight in gold.

I agree with you guys in that submits are harder than shit to monetize these days but I'm sure with a little creativity you could at least come close to breaking even and building a decent size list. Shit, if the niche is remotely close to a competitive ppc topic, mix up some related offers and adsense blocks for one of your final reg pages. Could be an easy way to recoup costs for the visitors who skip out on the offers entirely.
