Reading through TerraNova, one of the better MMO/Virtual World blogs out there, and saw this post about studies on gender roles in online multiplayer games, the results of which include this wonderful tidbit:

There are a surprisingly large number of bisexual females playing, but not males. While male bisexual players stuck to the national average, females were about five times higher than the national baseline rate.

I knew there was a reason I liked this niche so much.

mmorpg's have a lot of ewhoring for ingame items hence alot of "bisexual females" join the game.
