Hello everybody, my name is Tortemon, I am from Russia. Few days ago I was interested in abroad seo, so, finded that forum and decided to do webside on english. I have already made web-sites, but only in Russian language range. And now I want to make one for English-speaking humans. And I want to work on adsense to have some profit from my websites. I thinks our seo and "your" seo is not very different, but I still have some questions.

So, where can I analyze website backlinks?
Where can I see rates of search queries? (except google adwords)
What kind of web-site is most interested here? (blog, portal etc..)
Where can I find content for my website? (On my Russian web-sites I often ordered copyrighters for typing me some text)
Where can I get some backlinks for my site? (Are there any exchanges of links?)

So, theese are all questions that I have.

Ps. Sorry for my bad english :crap:

PPS. If you got some questions about Russian seo, you can ask, ill try to answer on it :)

PPPS. If you know some blogs of many-makers, post them here please, ill read them with great pleasure.

Contact me, i'll explain everything!

I cant PM you, may be I have not enough messages. Do you have an ICQ, or Email, or Skype?

So. I have one more question. What payments system do you use here? I heard something about payPal, but nothing understood.

Ps: in Russia we use Webmoney and Yandex Money (Yad).

Hi Tortemon,

I am very interested in SEO for the Russian market, and have just started to reseach this - (i am just about to start a project for a site in Russsian). Maybe we can share our knowledge?

I think you are right, the SEO for both is broadly the same - one of the main differences, as far as understand, is that Yandex will still allow credit for paid links (although less than it used to), whereas Google will definitely penalize your site if you pay for links.

Also, for US/UK SEO, Google is by far the largest search engine - so all SEOs just focus on what Google wants. In Russia, Yandex has the biggest market share.

As for your question about how/where to get links, there are lots of different places I can suggest.

Drop me a line at nz9503 [at] g mail [.]com, and we can discuss further.

I look forward to chatting with you,
Andy

Ahrefs Site Explorer is the creme of the crop currently

Where can I see rates of search queries? (except google adwords)

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

or any number of keyword research tools (like ahrefs above, UNF or serpiq) can be used to get a general number for volume & cpc

What kind of web-site is most interested here? (blog, portal etc..)

We (wickedfire) use whatever CMS (or lack of a CMS) makes us money, it's more about the site than the platform. We (The US in general) are full of all types of sites so you can use whatever you want and you'll fit in fine.

Where can I find content for my website? (On my Russian web-sites I often ordered copyrighters for typing me some text)

that'll work here, just get it translated. If any sites get overly popular, you'll want to look into hiring a native speaker to keep that site more clean than the others but it sounds like you're into casting a large web so just wait for the sites to jump out before shelling out lots of cash for 9/10 translations.
