I appreciate all the help I've gotten just by reading the forum, but one thing I'm experiencing, I haven't seen addressed.

I put up a test arbitrage page, got an account at 7search, bid $.006 on about 200 keywords and watched. The first day, I had 36 impressions and 3 clicks. I was sitting at 2:1 at that point. Second day, 27 impressions and 2 clicks...now about 1.8:1. Today, 4 impressions and no clicks.

One thing I did on the second day was start adjusting bids on individual keywords. Why pay $.06 on a word when you're the only one bidding on it, etc. Could that have hurt anything?

Is it normal to have a peak at the beginning, then trail off?

I've since placed all bids back to $.06

Thanks in advance.

I normally bid 0.01 and all keywords and raise it for the ones with the most traffic
use the view bids option to check what others are bidding, look for gaps in between the highest bidders
play around with ad placement to increase ctr

and yes, it's normal to peak in the beginning and then trail off
