Searching for a reliable VPS

Can anyone suggest a VPS that allows timed redirects? Would you recommend this strategy or writing the code on your own page? Thanks

You don't need a VPS to do a timed redirect. You could use JavaScript, AJAX to call a PHP script, a META Rrefresh, etc. This can be done on any type of hosting.

Hosting doesn't prevent you from redirecting - the programing language constraints do.

DUH, you just launch one server for each concurrent visitor and halt the network I/O for your desired delay. Cloud fixes everything.

If it's a linux VPS, Try a simple shell script and cron jobs to this task.
