Hey there,

Alright, I'm going to get right into it... would it be illegal to sell a list of sites?

What I mean by that... you know all those paid survey membership sites out there that you pay $39 or whatever to get into to... it's all just a list of survey sites that you can sign up for free with.

However most of the time half the links are broken or no longer exist. So if I was to take that list, clean it up (remove all the broken ones, etc), could I resell it as my own?

To me, it is just a list of sites. There is no true content being taken other than external links to survey sites.

What do you think?

Thanks.

Personally, I don't see anything illegal, immoral, or fattening about selling a list of resources. There are plenty of ink on dead trees books that are nothing but lists of other books on any given subject, and sometimes they are even useful. Go for it.

Definitely not illegal, you're providing information. As long as you're not spreading misinformation, such as claiming that they're spam links, you'll be fine.

As Supergeek mentioned, the ebook is a good idea. It's much better than simply selling a list, people want to get the most bang for their buck.
