Selling Signatures

Depends on how much $ we're talking about for one. If the price is right, I certainly would... as long as it's something I wouldn't feel like a homo representing.

Also... Jon, I'm very surprised you'd be ok with that. I can't think of a single other forum that would allow it's user's to place banner ad's in their sigs that they're being paid for. It would seem to be even less allowed in this industry. That's really cool of you to be so 'lax about the moderation of the forums.

Lol, better safe then sorry, eh...?! Cause I'm not seeing audio banners often.

But then again, there is that annoying "OH MY GOD, NO WAY!" talking smiley...

Anyway, I've heard of the "selling signatures" idea, but haven't seen it implemented, so I was wondering what's the general stance on it.

I would certainly look into buying signatures, but it would really depend on teh niche I was attacking.

But no, seriously...I've never liked doing that as a way of earning money...I think there are better ways to do it...and I've also found it to be so confusing - you'd think that people actually own or help run sites listed in their signatures, but this isn't always the case.

No I wouldn't do it. Especially on a forum were I'm well known and respected. If something went wrong they will blame me and my credibility goes down

I have paid people NP$ to put my links in their sigs, I myself don't think it is worth the time

Lots of people over at DigitalPoint have been buying and selling sigs. I bought a sig to try it out. It's worth it to me as one other way to advertise and get exposure.

Mainly cuz I have carpal tunnel and a very busy schedule which includes modding my own affiliate forum - so I'm unable to post in all the forums as much as I'd like to.

WOW this forum has taken off like WildFire - or should I say WICKED Fire!
