SEMRush or Market Samurai?

Hey guys,

So I bought into the SEM Rush plan for 70/month last week or so and love it. I hate the fact it's a recurring fee, though, especially steep (I'm not making money to pay for it). That, coupled with a lot of references to Market Samurai on here and elsewhere (See: AIM's epic post about creating an authority site) I'm wondering if I picked the wrong software.

Should I stick with SEMRush or should I go to Market Samurai? Thoughts?

Thank you!

SEMRUSH is more research on competitor sites, seo and PPC wise.

Market Samuari is just seo backlinks, indexed pages, etc.

Honestly I have TE,SerpIQ and SEmrush but that is just me.

Would you consider that suite to be all you need from niche discovery to link building? I also have Scrapebox, but that's the extent of my pay apps/services.

SEMRUSH is providing much info about the competitors like back links etc.. But I used Market Sumuari for keyword research.

Over the course of the past few years, I have tried out lots of different keyword research strategies. In a nutshell, I think we are all looking for the same thing: how to find keywords that are easy to rank for as quickly as possible. One of the “bottlenecks” of keyword research is that you have to start your brainstorm process somewhere, any way SEMRush is not a bad option as compared to rest market.
