I have roughly 250 websites and majority of them are on 2 dedicated ips and linking together. I have seen a recent drop in alot of websites in SERPS so I have decided to put every one of my sites on their own dedicated ip. I was going to re-work my linking structure by having 250 websites, with 15 links on each one, and each site will have 15 links pointing back to it. So in other words it would be cross linking where no site would have a reciprocal link, which at the current state they do.

Can anyone give me some input if this sounds like a good idea

first of all, you're averaging 1.5 posts a year. bravo for self control

second, this might be a good opportunity to weed out a lot of the unprofitable sites. even just adding ips to your server will run you about $2/ip/month, so if you have sites that aren't making a dime, just kill them. That might help lessen the amount of work you'll have to do to get things reorganized.

Thanks for the reply, I know I don't post here very much. Have taken alot of time off of work, but trying to get back in the swing of things. I would also like to add I am going to pay a friend to do the linking for me and I got a deal on the ips for 200ips for $100 through my provider. As for the linking part does this sound like a good idea to do a whole structural change? Also is better to interlink on dedicated ips rather than on the same ip? Could I see a change im my serps. Trying to make sure im on the right track

Way too many unknown variables to give an answer on this. Google has been doing a lot of tweaking lately so everyone is being affected.

IMO, your current linking structure isn't extreme and I doubt that is the reason for the drop in SERPs. That being said, you never know until you change it and test it.

Who is your provider that you got 200ips for $100?
