Server side flash video conversion

Not sure if anyone will know this here but I'll ask anyways.

Anyone know of a program that converts (server side) uploaded video to flash , ala YouTube etc. ?

Have a look at ffmpeg, I'm pretty sure it runs on linux only and it can convert videos to just about any format. PHP has an extension to work with it so it should be pretty use, plus you can use it to make thumbs for the videos.
