Always looking for things like this that make the experience smoother overall.

Will the Gold version be out for Firefox users as well? I'm utilizing this fully and it's been great so far.

When will the Platinum version be released? I'm not a fan of gold.

Lol. Sorry, I'm just teasing. I'm not understanding the naming convention. I'd assume that upon release you just have "SEscout". It's a service, and that's it. Then, each user can subscribe to a different level of that service. So, those users would have different levels of access - their names would change based on that subscription.

Lol ya. Sorry for the confusion. When I say gold I basically mean the public paid release, not trying to make a new type of package category or anything. I'm a gamer so I'm thinking alongside the "game gone gold release imminent" type of thing.

The beta testing has been… interesting. The amount of bug reports for (extremely)stupid things is astounding. It has become very clear to us, that for SEscout to be a viable solution for EVERY user, it needs to be idiot-proof. Now we know that the UI isn't perfect and we are not claiming that it is, since most of our effort is going towards the application itself, BUT its now clear to us that UI development must be our primary focus until all confusion has been abolished for basic users.

This sucks because we have a lot of really awesome features that all of the advanced users are going to love and are almost ready to be rolled out, but we are currently forced to work on really small annoying things that you may not even notice, but seems to be huge hurdles for other users.

Currently, our plan is to start charging $30/month starting October 1st for all users. This will allow unmetered access to ALL of SEscouts current features and all additional features as we progress. We will not be offering different tiers until we get the basics absolutely perfect for everyone. At that point we will roll out different pricing plans. We will also be offering a free plan which will let anyone test the system with a 10 keyword cap starting October 1 as well.

Your membership will sustain our expenses while we continue to expand SEscout, so even if we don't have all of the features that you currently need, please consider paying the small fee to allow us to make this thing epic (oh and how epic it will be)! We are working extremely hard, so as long as we get the communities support we will do our best to offer EVERY feature that you guys need.

Hi,

I've been trying to contact you via PM about issues with my test account.

Appreciate your help!

Have you considered bringing on a UI designer? Just let them deal with the UI bug reports (have a drop-down list on the bug report form to section-off the UI reports when they arrive).

Ya'll go on about your business with the neat stuff and let the UI designer tinker with the interface.

Once the interface is solid, you could have the guy work on a mobile app interface and then use PhoneGap.com or something to create an app for all the platforms with the guy's design to connect to your data. Then you can let the guy go and you carry on about your business ;)

Great plan... however the problem is that its not simply as easy as changing some css and adding some graphics. At this point in development, a strong understanding of the custom framework is needed to set up all ajax functions. We should have most of this in place before the end of the week. Once subscription money comes in, we will be adding to our team to speed up development.

Is the site down now until a paid version comes out? The pages to login has been missing the last couple times I tried to login.

Very useful. I keep waking up expecting to see a subscription page whenever I login in the morning lol.

I assume you'll be tossing one up in the next few days when it works in Firefox and IE? Though, I assume you're working on implementing those UI enhancements first.

Also, did you get my E-mail about the notification suggestions I sent a couple days ago? I understand you've more important things to do, just wanting to make sure you got it because that'd really improve the service.

Ok at the moment I have 3 things to say.

First, this tool is awesome. It's already verry good now but I can barely wait for the updates just to see them ;)

Second thing, I do have some suggestions. First, I tried to add in same group same keyword but for different country and it can't because it considers them as duplicate keyword. You should probably set it when it's the same keyword with different country selected that you Can add it and that this is not "dupe" keyword. I for example check rankings for 1 keyword on 1 domain on 4 different countries so this would probably good to program in.

Third thing. I kinda said it but I have to again. Fancy pdf reports !!! :) CSV tracking is ok but I would like some nice reports to export.

Anyway, great tool. I know when it goes to paid I'll probably get them few more subscribers if not a dozen because I'll recommend this to everyone ;)
