If you want the OP to vamoose, ignore him. Don't open his threads. Don't respond to his posts. Don't attack him in the tags. Don't dislike his posts. Don't agitate for a ban.
All of those things give him attention. That's probably something he craves. In that way, he's like a lot of folks here, including those who try to get a laugh (and likes!) at his expense. If you enjoy having him around - even if you intensely dislike his posts - then it makes sense to attack him. Your vitriol is the fuel that makes him run. However, if you truly want him to leave, then attacking him - and even opening his threads - sabotages your goal.
Doing so gives him attention. Even if he gets banned, he'll return to receive more.
Personally, I'm indifferent. Once someone goes red, he becomes a ghost to me. (No offense to the OP. It's a time management thing.) It doesn't matter whether he stays or goes. But I'm fascinated watching some of you toil to get rid of him while doing the one thing that guarantees he sticks around.
