I just launched my site a month back, and it seems I need to at least a bit of funding to get it going. Being a programmer foremost, my salesletter currently sucks and I can't afford to put up adwords, etc. But the product is really good (from a programmer and user pov) and as I see it, it can do very well if marketed right with the right budget as well... *sigh*

Now I'm thinking I should cut my losses (time) and just sell it, so I can get back into my offline business. The longer I spend on this site, the more cash I don't make. Should I just sell it for around 6 to 7k and use the funds to move on?
:hitit_sml:

What would u do?

Translation: Your website sucks moose dick.

What do you mean you cant afford Ad Words? How can you sell something you havent even seen make a dollar? Why is this thread even here? Everybody thinks their website is unique and has potential.

Ask mom and dad for extra allowance money and test your theory. When you're making steady income, then waste everybody's time asking if you should sell.

Now go fix me a turkey pot pie bitch!

What's the site? It's going to be hard selling it if it's only a month old with no sales record for 7k. Everybody on digitalpoint says their site is a gold mine if only they had the time and/or money to promote it.

Firstly... what the hell is a moose dick? I've not had close calls with
the wild kind. Thanks... And I'm nobody's bitch .. dick head.

Sell it for $15, which is about the average for a yearly domain registration and a month or 2 of shared hosting. Buy yourself a pack of gum with the change and get on with your life.
