smart price.. i don't think it affects entire account.

I heard about this from shoemoney and jansense blog, but did google officially post this? I don't see why they would since they never reveal anything...

Here is what that team member disclosed, as well as other tidbits already known about smart pricing.

• Smart pricing affects an entire account. It is not on a per page or per site basis.
• One poorly converting site can result in smart pricing impacting an entire account, even sites completely unrelated to the poorly converting one.

I've noticed that on days when my site gets me a lot of high $ clicks, the very next day(and days after) they will be around $.01 with the exact same ads. I have no MFA ads on my site. None of my other sites with adsense will be affected at all. This has happened on multiple sites and they all eventually go back to normal and other sites will go down to $.01 clicks.

Hi Mason, interesting point. I had assumed my entire account was effected, but thinking back, might actually be only one site.

I'm opening a new account to test seperately. Will hopefully provide some evidence.

it is by site. as i have some sites in accoutn that have beem SP and others that havent.

My whole account got smart priced, couple of myspace sites and all my arbi sites. moved the myspace sites to a new account and it solved my problem. This was a couple months ago now though, might have changed.
