So I want start spamming my email list...well sort of. It's an opt in list for my business and it's hosted with constant contact. I have about 40K in the list, but I don't want to send offers through constant contact because I am sure I will get banned. So I know I need to copy it and use another service to send the offers. What service do you recommend? Won't the new service be suspicious of me uploading a large list? How many offers a day should I send? Is this even worth it? Any other tips?

Id say get 20 toss a away hosting accounts with 20 toss away domains and run a cgi script responder..... Why 20 every domain gets blacklisted or host shuts ya down u just move to next set up on your list lot of peeps do that already!

What makes you say you'll get banned?
40k is a pretty small list, and can be sent out quickly. So unless you have any spam traps in there(which if it's opt-in should be very few) the emails SHOULD be out before many complaints roll in, even if they do come...

Ok I have 20+ domains but they are all on one account in godaddy....is that ok? The cgi script responder you mentioned...are there companies that offer this service? I don't know coding nor scripts. Thanks for your help.
 
Just throwing in my two cents regarding Godaddy - they have zero concerns about raping their customer's accounts when it comes to complaints etc.

Well constant contact has stopped running my campaigns before because I had 4 spam complaints which is bogus because those people signed up on my site and requested my info. So, if I start sending out offers that don't pertain to my main website, I would imagine the spam complaints would really start to roll in and they would ban me. Also, in constant contact, if a person unsubscribes from my "spam" offers, they would automatically be unsubscribed from my main business website and thus that would hurt my main "bread and butter business", therefore my dilemma.

So by "raping" you mean they will close me down in heartbeat, no questions asked?
 
Yes get new domains use any reseller agency dime a dozen or something you dont give a rats ass about tons of places to buy $10 domains and $10 hosting get coder to load cgi script for ya dime a dozen in india should have a complete eamil set up for $60 or less per account piece of cake walk
 
Maybe this helps:

I usually publish a newsletter on my site and send my mailing list the link. As I do this once a month, the newsletter is usually visited.

They receive something like this on their e-mails:

As it is a web page and not an e-mail, no one can accuse you of being a spammer and you can include all the ads you wanted on it.
