Social Ads Case Study

We're a visual (consumer) culture. MOst people only look at the image before any words because they are looking for something that they can quickly identify with. Ads should actively speak to consumers about their identities - that's the key to any good (suckering-in) advertising along with a sense of familiarity. Try not to think of it as luck.

I would like to see as well Ratamiss

BTW, I'm no longer doing this case study, I'm making quite a bit of money with twitter

Hey Bubbabubba, you should update your case study just to provide a little closure, did you have any positive results?

Hi ratamiss,

Do you care to share how you got your ads approved?

If not that is cool just thought that I would ask.

Thanks

Well I wasn't doing anything sketchy, mostly dating. My strategy has been to target small demographic groups - 20-75k max with a relatively general ad.

For example my headline would be "meet hot goth girls" with a obligatory hot chick picture. Body doesn't really matter since no one reads it but including the service name will make it easier to get approved ie "meet hot goth girls today, start your free trial at hotgothchicks.com"

If you target your demographics well you wont need to trick people into clicking your ads. They will know what they are getting into and will be in buy mode and thus your conversion rate will be high. I was getting 60-70% on some ads.

p.s. I didn't actually do goth dating so if you blow a ton of money on it, don't blame me.
