Two hours later she called saying that she was no longer interested. She stated that she had searched on Google, facebook and twitter and didnt find me. She said that because she couldnt find me...I must be a spammer!...LOL...I fuckin slammed the phone on her ignorant ass and will never entertain the idea of taking on a customer again.

I feel your pain, welcome to how most small business work.

Honestly, it's better to find out now that she's going to trust her limited knowledge more than a professional's instead of when you're a few weeks into the contract and she's trying to play armchair quarterback.

Clients like this deserve to be stuck in the 20th century.

Edit: This might be the perfect opportunity for a dick roll ... I'm considering sending one to my ex-clients in your honor.

the only reason I'm in AM is because I hate dealing with clients. the only thing better than 1 boss is several.

UPDATE: ... never entertain the idea of taking on a customer again.

good to see you learned your lesson

Thing that's really puzzling me is why do people take on clients after they get into AM?

affiliate marketing is inconsistent and people don't really know where it will be in 4 years. its hard to keep up with trends and new niches but ppl also tend to forget that clients jump ship like campaigns go to hell. Also you need to keep your eyes open for new clients, just as you need to be aware of new niches while doing AM.

On the other side, you don't get to handle any customer service with affiliate marketing, which is the best part of it. So yeah, I'm in the same boat as you since don't get why people keep looking for client work when they could do money while sleeping.
