I have a couple of sites but I wanted to come here instead of Digitalpoint for this. It'd be great if you didn't flame me! 
Right, so I'm gathering some things together and I'm going to start a new site promoting an affiliate, focusing solely on loads of quality content.
Just a couple questions:
1. I want to MAXIMIZE the sales I get through my affiliate, but could I also implement AdSense? Or would the ads drive potential buyers away? I'm just thinking the people that go away probably wouldn't have bought in the first place - but I do want to maximize affiliate sales.. have I answered my own question? Should I not bother?
2. My main Q. Affiliate ads: shall I keep them as just banners here and there, or should I also on top of those banners/ads, stick embedded links in my content?
for e.g.
instead of "...and the best dog leads are red"
have "...and the best dog leads are red"
And if so/not, any other on-site marketing techniques I should implement, or just keep to banners/ads here and there?
