Someone answer a few small noobish questions?

Hey guys.

I'm completely new to the idea of affiliate marketing, but in no way new to making money online (I've been making money on the internet since about 2003, and been self employed for almost 2 years now!)

I have spent the last couple of weeks reading allot of information, watching videos and trying to come up with some ideas.

I decided i'd try a direct linking campaign first, (email submit it was).. however, i got a big kick in the nadz from Google when they instantly gave me a "Inaccurate Display URL"

So.. actaully, let me get onto the questions.

- I see my display URL can't be by affiliates.com URL.. and.. the link has to go to that domain? So.. does that mean i still have to buy the domain and redirect it?

So.. how do I get around this? Or.. what are the ways which i make this work?

- Does Yahoo or Adcenter also have this policy?

head on down to the newbie forum... come to affiliate marketing when your ready to not get flamed

lol yea he pretty much said it... but landing page or using a url redirect is the best. Usually direct linking is only used for a quick test.
