I wish I knew the answer to that question. I've seen brand new sites take it just fine, I've seen 5 year old sites get hammered into oblivion. For direct SGW, it always comes back to high quality unique content (hi Matt!) and lots of it. Check out the thread over in Traffic and Content, lots of good feedback on how people are using it successfully.
I bought three orders back on the 13th.
On the 17th, links started pouring in on two of the domains:
Domain 1 is a redirect and I think google just picked up the 301 yesterday. I've moved up a couple positions on page one for my main keys, but more importantly I'm getting traffic from several more keywords AND more search engines (wasn't really expecting that).
Domain 2 was an aged domain that I slapped some fresh content on and then blasted it. It's now bouncing between page 1 and 2 for its main keyword. Nice.
Domain 3 hasn't seen any backlinks or movement yet??? Not sure if blasted yet
By the way, all of these domains were aged (at least 5 years).

Sorry about the late reply, I'm picking up some links when I check your URL in quotes but I've noticed google is getting slower and slower about showing us links via this method, wondering if that's a major indicator moving forward.
