Hello everyone,

I'm new to AM, after reading lots of ebooks, blogs, etc and some completely useless stuff, I started some Facebook campaigns without real success for the moment ;) (I sold 3 products after 2086 clicks with a CPC of $0.7).

I would like to know if Facebook is a good way to start AM, and if it is possible to make money with it?

When someone explain in a ebook or on a blog how to create a Facebook campaign, they never explain how to pick a product or to write the ad copy, so is it better to sell a product or to promote surveys and free stuff?

Thank you very much.

There are always ways to make money on any traffic source. The thing with facebook is that you have to be creative. Keep in mind, thousand of affiliates have tried the same offers on it. You have to think outside the box. It is the only way you can achieve success.

One more thing, getting your ads approved is a different story.

But I love fb, the traffic is some of the best if not the best.

I am also a newbie and haven't even figured out how to post a message here. I have started advertising for free in Twitter, but have only made .16. I want to advertise in Facebook, but haven't gotten that far yet. Facebook advertising is much cheaper than with Yahoo or Google CPC.

Ok, so let's go back to the subject. Are you guys promoting products on Facebook or surveys, etc?

Oh no.. My mistake, sorry, the CPC is $0.07. So I paid $147 for the campaign and sold for $42 of products...

Read through the full (100+ page) thread. It goes through the full history of Facebook and there are a lot of things, that as a noob, you really need to know before starting (if you don't want to needlessly waste a bunch of money).

Best advice I can give you is to read through the thread and take note of what worked. I find there are actual trends in what offers are promoted on FaceBook. Try and pick up on that and promote what *seems* to be trending out (but hasn't been outlawed by the FB nazis).

Also don't limit yourself to FB ads to get Facebook traffic. There's TONS of other places to get the same FB traffic but for a lot less through other sources.

Actually u can create a fan page and make it viral and once it gets to many friends u can just monetize it with ya offers.many go by that way instead of just ad's.

How long do those pages typically last? 2-3 days before FB catches on?

What are some other sources you would recommend? I haven't been able to get a single ad approved on Facebook for my dating + gaming offers in the last couple weeks. I was thinking of trying POF but I heard there approval process is just as bad.

Yes, I bought a Facebook Ads guide by Jonathan Volk, a super affiliate (He released it today),. I was pretty skeptic about it, but I'm really happy with my purchase. The guide is really easy and helpful for newbies like me. It explains everything from registering to affiliate networks to creating a Facebook campaign. Well, the ebook is not really cheap, but I learned a lot with it... You can check it out here: Facebook Ads Guide.

Even if you read lots of ebooks, the best thing to to is to try creating campaigns, and you will learn a lot, even if it isn't profitable the fist time.

thanks for your hoplink...

Do you know which ads created those sales? How many ads do you have up?

If you only have 1-2 ads up, break them down into as many ads as you can with each ad targeting a specific keyword + age group(multiple images and ad text aswell, split test son!), and eventually you'll find out which demographic caused the sale, and then you can focus on them.

kgo.

Yes, thank you very much for your advices, I don't know which ads created those sales, so I will create more ads and track them.
