I was setting up a new tv in my office so I had to unhook my modem and splice the connection going to it, after hooking it back up google thinks I'm from Germany now.

Kinda related: I had to pay a £150 ($300) deposit on a cell phone contract because the provider thought i was French. I've been out of England once in my 21 years of living. All of the proof under the sun wouldn't convince them i'm a Brit.

I had exactly the same thing happen, disconnect and reconnect the router / modem. Hopefully that should sort it out. If it doesnt try again in a few days. Mine seemed to sort itself out eventually and that was purely by restarting my router which is done nearl every day anyway.
