Stuck with Autoblog. . . now what?

I've set up two autoblogs in two different niches. I did keyword research and the keywords I'm generating content for have at least 9000 monthly searches (most much more than that) and have an average CPC of less than $.50. There is competition in those niches, meaning a lot of products, so I hope that means there's money there.

I have email list signups on both via Aweber. I was hoping to build a list to market related affiliate markets to. Never really done that but I figured I'd get to that once I had list signups. Should I try adsense? The blog is mixture of informational articles and affiliate products (clickbank and amazon) and reviews. Using the default Wordpress template, which is kinda shitty I guess.

Installed google analytics to somewhat measure traffic. . . Kind of stuck. I know I need to test the idea to see if it's worth developing a product for in the long run, but how can I do that without traffic?

I've purchased some PPC with those same keywords. Small amount $30 worth, about 650 impressions a day, no clicks. Do I need to write better advertisements/where can I learn?

Should I pursue other ways of generating traffic? I hear posting in forums is good.

Any help would be awesome.

> is that a rule around here or just annoying to some people?

Arrrgggg! My eyes!! It's burning my eyes!!

> why won't it let me edit it anymore?

You only get a 5 minute window to edit it after it's initially posted.

you dont want to be sending ppc traffic to a crappy autoblog but to a landing page that will convert (whether its opting in or buying something) You also dont need to use the default theme, check out themeforest, woothemes, and wordpress.com and find something that looks good.

What I would do:

Create a wordpress money site:

Get Exact match domain, Pick 10-15 keywords with low competition and decent searches, Get targeted unique content about 1000 words which includes keywords, a nice theme from themeforest, strong Call to Action buttons (use dabuttonfactory.com, its free), find a decent offer on Azoogle, Clickbank, whatever. Use Red_Virus services for social bookmarking to get initial backlinks and traffic to this site.

Create a bunch of autoblogs which are in the similar niche. Interlink all the autoblogs in blogroll. Over the months, they will accumulate indexed pages and gain some sort of authority. Place your money site link in the footer or blog roll of these autoblogs. Or just check out Link Farm Evolution (pretty much does the same) This method creates backlinks on autopilot for your money site.

Autoblogs can't convert for shit imo. They can be used for SEO'ing money sites which convert though.

Also to help speed up the process, check out a VPS (PM me for more info) and get Fantastico which automates setting up wordpress. So you can crank out more autoblogs for those backlinks.
