Stupid Fucking Facebook Q's

Your #1 thing is high CTR on your ad, so try something a little vague that will get the clicks, like "Is This Girl Hot? Click here and be judge for yourself"

Then your LP has to sell the idea that there are TONS of these girls all around you right now! In your neighborhood! Maybe even on your street! And they sign up to these dating sites to get fucked hard!

Ya mean?

A simple ad like "Meet Single Women" tries to sell too hard. So many impressions are wasted because people will think "ANOTHER fucking dating ad, fuck that"

Get them to click. Then sell the idea of the conversion with a strong LP.

Solid advice dude +rep

If you're dropping $100 and it's lasting you the entire day, that's a little weird. I usually blow through $100 in an hour tops. So that leads me to believe that your ctr is incredibly low which means the reason for you not profiting is poor ad design. If ctr goes up, cost goes down, and now your campaign is profitable.

Never tried dating but I like that idea. People like ads that don't look like ads. Look at porn sites, they all have those ads that say "FACEBOOK SEX" and have a huge row of pictures of girls and a ripped-off Facebook logo in the corner. People see that shit, they think "hell yea I wanna fuck some bitches on Facebook" and they click the ad. Even though the actual offer (usually Fling) has nothing to do with Facebook at all.

Well Facebook spreads the "daily budget" across the entire day--sort of. So if I put the daily budget at $100 it will last a good PART of the day. This is with CTR's of between .06-.15%

Really, landing pages? The large majority of high volume dating ads I see and run are direct linking and I see conversions as high as 25% in some niches(running 3 direct link dating offers today 10%,17%,20%).

One thing to remember Eric is not only day parting but week parting. Some offers do great in the morning/night some are awesome on Wednesday some tank on the weekend ect. Not so much about just clicks but about spreading those clicks to different time and demos.

Also to the advise about flashy ads, take that in stride and test BOTH ways and also make sure you're tracking and know what ads your leads are coming from:
Keep your budget low on outlandish ads as they might not convert.
Bid high on the copy that 'sells' and pause if the CTR is crap after the first few thousand impressions(to a single ad not a group) Do that a with a few ad groups and one will get 'lucky' with a decent ctr, pause the rest, watch FB drop your cpc or do it yourself rinse repeat.

They did not approve me for direct linking campaign, and even with a LP they still not approve my ads I really mad with them, I would like to have a FB ads Spy tool does anyone know any software for this?

Great points man--quick question though: how exactly do I find the ads that are doing well on a daily/weekly basis without running a non-stop campaign--if that makes sense? Just pause/resume ads at different times throughout the day/week and see if there's any difference?

As for pausing if the CTR is crap after a few thousand impressions--what should I do if they're ALL crap but the copy is converting? Just try out more pictures, etc. (assuming I'm still direct linking which I honestly prefer doing).

Thanks again man, +1 if I have any left

If you're getting conversions but a crappy CTR, try new images and take a look at your targeting.

Ok, even bigger update. I'm sure only .02% of WF members give a fuck but this is pretty huge for me. I've been working at paid traffic for a while now and failed every fucking time at it (more or less). Just got my direct linking dating campaign profitable and I can now see exactly what I need to do to get it REALLY profitable (at least by my standards). Thanks to everyone who helped along the way and fuck the r-tards who said DL wouldn't work.

Just another update: looks like I fucked something up :D.

I don't know why but I got shut out of the offer and can't promote it for now (hopefully just temporarily). I'm not sure what I did wrong to trigger this or if my leads just weren't backing out or what... I'm going to try to start up a diff. campaign but we'll see what happens I guess. Just updating for the fuck of it. :)

Depending on the type of offer it might have been capped, or shut down entirely. Or you broke the rules.
