SU ads

Does anyone actually use this? Or would I be better off just submitting my site/page and having someone autostumble or buying a bunch of stumbles for it?
I was just wondering before I tried both, cause I don't think I've ever heard of anyone using stumbleupon to buy traffic.

If you are trying to direct traffic to a landing page your wasting your time/money. If you have a legit site that provides useful content to your users it could be worth it.

Agreed with aeisn. StumbleUpon users are fickle, leave within 5 seconds if they think they're being sold to. Even autostumbling a landing page isn't worth it since you'll get no converting traffic and plenty of downvotes.

I've used SU ads and have gotten better at capturing a long trickle of traffic (with the occasional spike whenever an influential member upvotes it) but I haven't worked out how to monetize it. They use adblock and don't click aff links. Decent for building backlinks and bookmarks, and they rage much less easily than digg/reddit/pligg sites.

It's interesting and unique because it's easy to get a ton of traffic all at once. Create 3 ads pointing to the same page and you can easily hit 2 visits per second very cheaply, unlike bidding on high volume keywords. I just haven't figured out how to harness that.

I've used SU 2 times successfully with a CPA offers made $500 + $1500. Noways lists stopped working and IMAGES actually started working instead. That is quite interesting.
