Thanks,
I was wondering also if there are any affiliate events or something like that.
Wanna do something "usefull" there as well... not just wasting time with booze and gambling
How long has that been around? I hit the forum shops almost every time I'm in Vegas and never noticed it. Will definitely hit this up during leadscon thanks for mentioning it
They have some great food there. Try Nobu at the Hardrock or Lavo at the Palazzo. Also some good buffet places, i really like the one at the Wynn- plus the Wynn is gorgeous.
Cirque du Soleil is one of the best entertainment values in the world. I can't recommend them highly enough.
I just saw the Varekai show this last weekend in Seville here in Spain and previously saw Quidam and Alegria in Vancouver. If I were going to Vegas I would try to see Ka at the MGM Grand (two groups of friends have seen it and they couldn't stop talking about it), O at the Belagio, and Mystere at Treasure Island. There is also a more adult/burlesque themed show called Zumanity at New York. I'm not as intersted in the Chris Angel or Beatles shows but I have no doubt that they are good too. There's 6 Cirque shows in Vegas now!
Honestly, if you've never been to a Cirque du Soleil show you really owe it to yourself to check one out.
Other than that, food, strippers and night clubs are where it's at. Oh, and a helicopter ride up to hoover dam, down the grand canyon and back up the strip at sunset is well worth the $.
If you want to hit the clubs - make sure you make a stop at XS at Encore. That place is off the fucking heezy.
Everything else in here is totally accurate. I'd also add that if you're bringing a girlfriend, wife, etc. the cabaret or more "risque" Cirque du Soleil show - Zumanity - is a fucking blast. When I went I got a seat right beside the bar and got shitfaced during what is an epic show. No joke, when it was over I chatted up a woman walking by, had a couple of drinks with her and ended up nailing her later that night. This show gets women going nuts.
