Texas yeehaa!
What motivated you to stop screwing around, trolling around reading crappy e-books, forums and other research to create your first affiliate campaign, first website, etc? Was it just stepping out and ignoring the fear? Or was it more of a calculated decision? A bit of both?

My problem isn't the matter of knowing what to do, I feel like there a bit of information overload in that category. I've been off and on researching Internet type business for nearly 1 year now, and yet to take a single action, like selling an amazon product if mentioned on my blog.

So what kicked you in the butt to stop researching for the perfect 1 solution(since there isn't such a thing, there could be several good solutions thought, right?) and doing some work? Even if you loss money?

Step back and realize that even this posting that you've made is part of your problem. The time you spent typing it up could have been spent picking an Amazon Widget, copying the code, pasting the code, and been your first step to making money online. Instead you got nothing.

Realize that even if you have information overload, there's a learning curve to the mechanics of affiliate marketing too - and you need to start doing it in order to get familiar with it.

Everyone came to this stuff with a different background and their motivation and first step aren't your motivations or first steps. You've read what to do, now just do it.

But if you must know, I chronicle my first affiliate marketing steps in great detail here.

Just fucking do it !!!

Pick something you read about and do it. Then stick with it until it works or clearly doesn't. Then rinse-repeat. And realize that this IM thing IS work. There are no free rides. The only thing is that the potential payoff is much higher compared to other things you can do.

Bills to pay
