Can anyone share ideas on research..Here's how I see it-

1) Choose an offer

2) Find (some will copy competition) /create landing pages etc.

3) Find kw's, more lps, ad options. Tweak ppc campaign details.

4) test/track the shit out of it. New lps, kws, ads.

5) scale.
 


500 clicks ..or 50- heres how either of those could win or fail, even if the offer is strong and others are killing it..
1) wrong lp (message, images, layout, type etc)
2) wrong ad (text, images etc)
3) improper tracking
4) bad kws
5) hosting issues (if not dedicated)
6) wrong time for ad serves (some offers kill at nite, some weekends only, some days)

and im sure Im missing more.. With all these variables, its easy to miss the rainbow.

  • If you want to capture your visitor's information
  • If you want to pre-sell your prospect
  • If you want to give choices
  • If you are bidding for demographics relevant, but not product relevant keywords and want to turn his attention around
  • If the merchant won't allow direct linking
  • Blah, blah, blah
