Thanks to this community I finally sat down and "did it." I have always been a successful Affiliate Manager but I never promoted products myself. I was content with my 9-5. Then a family member asked me why I wasn't making MYSELF all the cash I was making all of my accounts. I had to sit back and really think about why. After reading WF for years and seeing the best advice being "Just set up a campaign and start. You can read this forum for years and never make a penny unless you DO IT." I did just that.

Yesterday I profited $1,024.90
Sure it was a freak day considering my other days have been around $150 or so.... but I used to make that in a MONTH working in a call center when I was 18.

Now please tell me to stop being a newb etc.

Sweet! You'd better not have stole the campaign from one of your publishers though ;)

Awesome. You must have picked up a lot of knowledge as an AM, so that all you really had to do was do it and figure out the subtleties.

that is really all there is to affiliate marketing. making a decision to succeed and not giving up. This is what keeps most people from being successful. They don't really believe that they can succeed and they are afraid of failing. Congratulations and welcome to that small % of people who are doing it right.

+1...

Did you come up with anything interesting while making your decision?
