This doesn't seem to outlaw flogs at all - All it seems to do is target paid posts.

good point, if you put a disclaimer link with all this crap in it you should be safe. they say that it has to be "clear and conspicuous":

"Since that time, the Commission has brought a number of enforcement actions against marketers for deceptive advertising containing consumer endorsements. Many of these endorsements have been accompanied by statements that purport to inform consumers that the experiences of the featured endorsers are not representative of what consumers can expect. The disclosures are often buried in fine print footnotes or flashed as video superscripts too quickly for consumers to read them. Not only are the disclosures far from clear and conspicuous, but usually they merely say “results not typical” or “results may vary” or similar statements that do little to inform consumers how rare or extreme the featured results are. "

@bb_wolfe - I agree that they aren't going to be able to take down everyone. But if you are located in the US it's extremely dissatisfying to know that they could take you down and have the authority to do so...

Let's see them go after my splogs, seriously. Yes, this is a challenge.

How can I even police or control what my splogs are posting? That's beyond my control. :) That's like holding a newswire or even google responsible for posting information that was obtained automatically and without any human interaction what so ever.

So yeah, bring it.

(PS - if by splogs you meant flogs, disregard the previous statement - but the challenge still holds).

I no think should worry because government of America is know for be no competent in areas many.

So mabye no catch many fake blog page of landing.

What I worry is affiliate report other affiliate to government to kill competition.

even if they decide to enforce this really bad... just get some hosting outside the US. This will be more of a problem for aff networks and advertisers.

Ah fuck I was just starting to make money with Affiliate Marketing too.
