Lulz. I know I'm posting in a troll thread, but what the hell.

While I won't argue that getting to the moon was a great accomplishment, I don't think it's the greatest act in the history of the planet. It's only 230,000 miles away. Once you escape Earth's gravity with a big enough rocket, the rest is pretty easy with some simple trig. I'd say getting back from the moon was more challenging than getting there.

Personally, I think some of the discoveries made by physicists and medical researchers are far greater than landing on the moon and walking around for a little bit. Just my opinion. No need to call me a cunt or anything like that.
