Whos seen this? I recently watched it after learning that they weren't a real band. Its a 'mocumentary' from the 80's about a fictional rock band called spinal tap. Its hilarious! Nobody I know seems to have heard of it so i thought i'd post about it here.

Definitely in my top 10 movies. I love all of Christopher Guest's other stuff, too (Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, etc).

Havent seen this in a long time. Nothing like coffee and Spinal Tap to start of the morning. Now off to find some Cheech and Chong!

My favorite part of the movie! If you like Spinal Tap, you should check out "Best in Show". If I remember correctly, it's made by the same people, or somehow related. Anyways, the comedy is along the same lines, good stuff. :D

Christopher Guest and company. They're hysterical.
 
Spinal Tap is probably one of the best comedies ever made.

Best In Show is good as well, but doesn't quite hit the same heights (not surprisingly).

This movie is great, but a more updated version of it that's every bit as good: Boyzvoiced... Their videoclips areo n YouTube too.
Things like "My heart's been broken by a 12 year old woman"

But my favourite bit is the 18" "Monolith"... so they get midgets to dance around it to make it look larger in perspective... I nearly cried.

I just remembered they were in the simpsons.. when bart goes to his first rock concert it was spinal tap.
