Thumbplay Artist Restrictions

Thumbplay is getting crazy these days with their ringtone policies....apparently you can't advertise your links alongside an artists name, image, album cover, things like that without prior consent.

Has anyone asked their Azoogle AM for consent on this stuff before?

I've gotten about 6 C&D from Thumbplay. It's an automated process.

What it boils down to is this: They dont want you advertising songs / artist that aren't available, because it's false advertising.

For example, you're trying to download "Cyclone" ringtone or something like that. If the user signs up for the service (keeping in mind the fact that they agreed to pay 9.99/month isn't the issue here) and is promised that ringtone and its not available, it's false advertising.
