Time tracking software

What software or methods do you all use to keep track of the time you spend on various projects? Right now I don't use anything but I'm curious to see how much time I actually spend on different things.

Step one: Buy a stop watch.

Step two: Start the stop watch.

Step three: Work on your project.

Step four: Take a number 2.

Step five: Stop your stop watch when you have stopped working on stop project.

Step six: Reset stop watch.

I have a clock on my cellphone, wrist, and wall so I can triangulate in on the time.
