Creating my brand website

  • Spent the last month or so creating a branded domain.
  • Got a really nice premium wordpress theme and designed
    to my likings.
  • Mobile Friendly
  • Very nice logo/banner designed professionally
  • It's a magazine style site
  • I've done my keyword research and got around 50+ topics as well as a bunch of high quality content being written as we speak.
  • Created my Twitter/facebook/linkdin pages
  • Bunch of HD photo's related to niches to throw in the content.

My next steps (As I would presume) would be to:
  • Work on page speed
  • Start buying social bundles to like/share/pin/+1 etc but drip it?
  • Should I worry about buying backlinks or should I give my site
a little bit to establish itself before I try to blow it up too fast?

So I guess my question would be what should I really focus on next?
I've read tons of SEO stuff here along with building a branded site but
I couldn't find anything that relates to "Don't push social on your site too fast" or "Dont go crazy with backlinks right off the bat" etc.

Any help is much appreciated!!!

It sounds like you are going the white hat route, so make sure to get local citations done as well as Knowem accounts (Andrew Scherer has a service for both). You also need to let things, your site, marinate. Are you interlinking your content like a mofo?

I'm with (O.o) on the philosophy there is really no way to have "too much" social. But in terms of backlinks, that's a different story. I'd look up each main keywords' competition's backlinks - top 40 or so, aggregate that list according to main pages, then attack the ones you can get.

There are some people from the link velocity school, that measure the amount of backlinks created versus the competition's new backlinks. At this moment, your next steps depend on how you've been taught to do SEO. I like building pumper sites to the main pages of my sites Dzianis style (http://www.wickedfire.com/education...eo-contest-recap-what-i-did-where-got-me.html).
