To write/compose webpages?

I use OpenOffice for texts, the GIMP for graphs, Inkscape for illustrations and Bluefish for code. The're all FREE. What more can you ask for?

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Nvu. Open source WYSIWYG editor. That, Gimp, and Filezilla are all you really need.
