Just got word from a rep at AdSonar that all tooth whitening offers are being pulled by end of the week on the AOL portion of AdSonar (the good converting part). Theyre still going to allow it for the non AOL outlets which make up the other 60% of their venues but it doesnt look too pretty from our experiences with it.

Definitely not good news for those of us running tooth whitening offers with them... :-(

Tooth Whitening Removed From AOL

That was ridiculous! After spending a lot of promotional campaigns, this had happened? :crying:

Maybe you got an untrusted source.

Came right from my rep man... maybe he's a fucktard and is clueless, I guess anything is possible, but I'm doubting it.

re: Pulse, no, have confirmed they're still running them strong through my AM as well.

dazzle ruined it. great epcs but awful customer service, upsells and fulfillment. cant believe adsonar still allows google biz opp.

hmm, sounds like this whole rebill thing is a scam, eh? people are getting tricked into scams and that is not fair!!!11

Yes, let's finish P360 off now. Let's see. Google Slap, Yahoo O&O slap, MMN Slap, Adsonar Slap. Great idea, let's totally rip off the Tier 1 customers by combining 2 product pushes with 6 forced conts. each. Then, make sure the advertisers vanish into thin air and have the ad networks field the consumer complaints.

Does anyone here have a business plan that goes beyond next week?

Kudos,

D

Back to English 101 and AM 101 maybe?

This might have something to do with AOL's upcoming IPO.

Hard to believe they're pulling teeth whitening but still dry humping Google bizzops. A lot of these rebills would still be running if the advertisers had the common sense to have a better back end. Customers pay for crappy service all the time, they just want someone to cuss and yell at. Is that too much to ask?

Not really a fair statement... I'd like you to explain to me how your business model is guaranteed any longevity either.

I guess it all depends on how much you want to make, and how fast.

e.g. You can have 10 non-continuity niche offers that do very well for you and in theory you'd never have to worry about a slap from the Big Boys.

But I take the attitude of, why not having something that does exceptionally well, and run it as long as you can? If you have to bounce around from one media co. to the next, who cares?

Couple the above with a more conservative groupings of non continuity offers and you have a solid back up in place and a base revenue/foundation that will always be "ol' reliable" whilst you try your next rebill and hop around.

Get income coming in from everywhere... spread the eggs. AM 101.

My guess is they may be pulling teeth whitening because almost every ad is for teeth whitening, not due to any customer complaints.

re: P360 pulling teeth, I heard it from an AM, not anyone at Pulse so it may not be accurate.
