That said, if you can get a good campaign going geared at a local market, there's no reason to EVER knock a ccTLD. Especially European ones, as great quantities of people in Western and Northern Europe DO speak passable English.

As it is, a lot of ccTLDs do get bought for the ability to make a phrase with them, or rhyme with them.

I'm still wondering if I should go for spic.es... Racist AND amusing.
