In the Past I have been doing almost all affiliate marketing through networks. I have been approached to offer my services from multiple companies Life Insurance Brokers , Mortgage Companies ETC . There proposition is get them leads in exchange for a big cut . They want to pay me per Closing and signing as opposed to per lead. I trust these people and know them from the past and know that they are honest and don't want to screw me over. And I know this way is more lucrative for me because I would be eliminating middle men. My question is how would I go about tracking this since every lead is not equal to me, is there a way I can append to a lead exactly where it came from ?that way I can track to which ones actually turn into money. In addition anybody have experiences doing things like this , any recommendations tips suggestions thanks allot.

I know this isn't much of a tip about how to go about this but felt I had to bring it up.

Some jurisdictions (Sates) disallow paying a cut of closing commissions to anyone not licensed as an insurance agent, loan broker or real estate agent and many go after such arrangements for monetary retribution.

I would be careful to cover your tracks when you set up such arrangement so as to not get yourself into any issues with performing tasks which require a license.

Run a lead capture campaign. So you'll know the information of the person you are referring to your clients. This will at least protect you a bit more in making sure you're getting paid for everything.

They actually are dealing with that It was brought up they are making me some sort of authorized reseller . I don't know the correct jargon but we both spoke to a lawyer about it thanks for the tip

Thanks for the tip . I am not nervous that they are going to rip me off I know people in the company etc. I just want to make sure I can scale and optimize and split test according to what I am getting paid for.

Honestly, the standard prosper202 script could almost do this for you if you pair it with your own lead collection script. Have p202 pass the click variable to your second page by entering the submit form as your offer url. Basically, you'll be sending clicks through p202 right back to your own server (index.php -> form submitted -> submit.php?sub=) Then, be sure to keep the click id with the submitted info as it is passed to your clients. Have them send you a report listing the click id's that signed which you can then update p202 with. Obviously, you'll be able to see which keywords/ads are performing well once you've updated with the id's.

This is just a theory but I'm pretty sure it would work -- just a lengthier way of putting p202 to work.

Thanks Exactly what I needed

well if you're in NY, cause you seem to be a homosexual a.k.a a mets fan.

you will realize that mortgage brokers and insurance brokers are the worst at paying people. They are usually shady sales people. You'd be better off focusing your efforts promoting a product on a ppc network.

Ya I know everyone is in it to make money but I have multiple people in the inside of this company so one of them would tip me off if there screwing me. Anyone have any luck with this type of arrangement ? any other tips?
