Hi all,

If you remember, about a month ago, I wrote a post about my first ever split test.

First of all- I fucked it up.

I decided to split test a long running campaign I have for an info product, which, unfortunately, is on Clickbank (fyi - i don't like it, but my LP does convert, so who am I to complain).

I was very excited to get started, so instead of putting the conversion code on my offer's conversion page, which would have required me to deal with the advertiser, I opted to just test my CTR to the offer as the conversion.

My winning variations has a moving arrow towards my call to action. However, I now how have no evidence that this variation actually sells more. Maybe it just gets dumber, less purchase inclined, clickhappy visitors to click. I have no idea.

Question #1: What Do I do with this Test?

Scrap it or should I take the 10% CTR bump and roll with it, hoping that I made the right decision?

Question #2: How Do I Avoid This in the Future (technical Question)

OK - so I don't want this to happen again. How do I get the GWO (or similar) conversion code on the advertisers conversion page? They've previously placed a T202 tracking pixel for me, but I'm not running any paid traffic yet, so that does nothing for me.

Should I have a script written up that will redirect a 1x1 pixel to the GWO conversion script? Or should I actually ask them to paste the entire GWO tracking code and trust that they won't fuck with its contents?

I'm really not sure how to handle this. Also, how do I handle the fact that the conversion is on a different domain?

Thanks in advance for your help.

why wouldn't you use subids to actually track this since you can do this with clickbank without the need for an advertiser to place a pixel?

Sorry man, this is obviously not my strong suit.

Can you please explain how I would be able to track the conversion of each variant using subIDs?

would that work for organic traffic? i haven't been able to get T202 to track anything since my visits aren't tied to ad clicks. Is there something else in the prosper suite i should be looking for?

you dont need to use the link from ad-->landing page

you use the LP javascript code (separate codes for each page that has an affiliate link on it)... and the prosper code for your affiliate link to offer
